Shortage of Doctors

shortage of doctors in poor countries

Doctors in less developed nations emigrate to more developed nations such as the United States, Canada, Britain and Australia in hopes of gaining better wages and opportunities. Thus, resulting in a shortage of doctors in poor countries and later impacting the health of the citizens of these poorer countries. Doctors who remain in poorer countries are all located in rural areas due to the better wages recieved. Doctors  are now working to earn a living and not working to improve health.
